does anyone know of a loan company?

that will make home loans based on income not totally credit history.were paying off our bills and ones where our identity was stolen.not fair i know.we have plenty income just cant get financing.we own our own property and want to put a doublewide on it or get one of the owner builder programs.anyone know of any place.we cant even get a credit card due to no credit anymore.but our income is almost 3 grand a month and we dont pay on credit cards or car payments.please serious answers only.and no smart remarks about paying our bills please cause we do.
most of the places did have the stuff removed from credit report and even after filing reports some places still refuse and we did work with a counseling place.those places are one big joke.they charge you to do what you can do on your own.

What is the average salary for an administrative assistant in an interior design company?

I work at an interior design company, and I was wondering what the average salary is for an entry-level administrative assistant in an interior design company.
Im under a two-week trial and at the end of the two weeks I will have to discuss salary, how should I approach it? are there any guidelines? what is the professional way to approach the subject?
I live in New York City if that is of any relevance.

Build your company home page quickly using a website builder software

Yahoo finally decided to close the web hosting service Geocities, which they bought with $3 billion. Unfortunately, one of my friend’s website is hosted on Geocities which is going to be disappeared soon. He needed to go to all of the trouble of moving his site.

What should he do? He had to start from scratch. He had a backup but only a little money. He liked those free hosting services but they had limitations. Some of them provide a web site builder. Many insisted on placing advertisements on his site. Others gave him templates that were OK but not just what he wanted.

Time was critical as he needed to get the new site up like yesterday! He was not tech enough to do the web development and FTP thing and manage a new hosting environment and the words HTML and PHP gave him sleepless nights.

I suggested that he either ante up the funds to get a site developed professionally or look at a standalone web site builder. He is using Windows XP, there are few website builder software available which are simple to use and easy to edit and comes with a bundle of templates as a starting point.

The main feature that he liked was that he could keep the site on his own machine for editing then move the new version up to the host using the built in File Transfer Process software.

I am an experienced web developer and like the control of managing the code myself using purpose built editors like Dreamweaver or DiDaPro. These cost. His comment was that he preferred to work on his business not in it. He saw no return on the time spent starting from scratch for each site and developing it. He wanted to get his sites up quickly so he could spend his time promoting them.

I agree with him as that is where the money is. The web has matured to a point where a beginner can create a reasonable site that is attractive and clean and have it up and running in under a day. The answer here is obviously a simple to use web site builder program to create and edit the site and transfer it up to the host. Sites built using Flash are fast to create and attractive. They offer good user interaction.

I am now seriously rethinking the way I approach my online business. My friend is right. Time spent developing websites that are just perfect is not time spent growing business or making money. That is the true reason for the business. If he can get a site up and selling within 24 hours and increase its performance by off-site SEO then he has a very valid point.

Hvac Company Owner Here About To Get Screwed?

One of my custom builders has built this one house over and over again at least 25 times over the past four years, and on one particular house there has been mold spotted near some of my registers. I have met with the home owner, builder and mold “specialist” and we have all come to a conclusion that the blown in insulation had not filled all the cavities around the buckets in the attic. All great and grand for me all we had to do was take all the old duct, buckets, plenums, coil and heater out and replace it all. They get all the prices together and send them to the insulator and he refuses to pay the back charge because he didn’t see problem before it was fixed. Now my builder has turned on me and I am afraid I am about to get back-charged for crap that I didn’t do. Does this suck or what? I guess that’s why I have to carry liability insurance even though it’s not my fault. Has this kind of junk happened to anybody else out there?

Company Helps Families With Home Ownership

Nevertheless, according to the 2000 census, there are more than 35 million families who rent.

Experts say that while many families are interested in home ownership, a major obstacle they face is the down payment.

Enclaves Group Inc., a spin-off of N.Y.-based real estate corporation Homes For America Holdings Inc., has created a “lease and own” program called Your Home, which the company devised to enable renters to enter the homeowner market.

“The Your Home Program is simple to understand and accessible to all Americans,” said Mark MacFarlane, chief operating officer of Enclaves Group. “This creative program has no down payment and offers a structured purchase plan that creates home ownership equity for the working family.”

In fact, MacFarlane noted that while the demand for housing has spurred the construction of new homes, traditional financing methods have not expanded to accommodate the needs of many ordinary families.

With no down payment required, the ability to accumulate “Good Resident Credits” and build substantial equity over a period of 36 months, MacFarlane says the program taps into a market that to date has received little or no attention: working families from all walks of life and diverse backgrounds who have not been able to overcome the obstacles to home ownership.

“Enclaves is the first and only home builder to target this unserved market,” said Robert MacFarlane, chairman and chief executive officer of Home For America Holdings. “It’s a simple process – what many families are currently paying in rent can now immediately apply for equity for their own piece of the American dream.”
