Try the National Home Builders Associationhttp://www.nahb.org/
Or try the Better Business Bureau to make sure that any builder you choose does not have any complaints against them.http://www.bbb.org/
    Or try RipOffReport Websitehttp://www.ripoffreport.com/
    Good Luck !!!

Go look at houses that are compleated by the builder and check the detail. Are the miters tight? stairs look good? locks on the windows work? Look at the small stuff because everything is revelent.

drive through a neighborhood where they are building luxury homes, find some that are under construction and ask the tradespeople who are doing the work, ask the framers who a good builder is ,ask the plumbers, trimmers or any other trade you happen to see, and see which builder is mentioned the most, the tradespeople will be straight with you as they work for several different builders and they will steer you right.
