I have a KB Home, and I accidentally messed-up one of my Windows. It happened when I closed it one day. The Vinyl became loose, and the Window De-commpressed. I just need to get a Replacement. So, what Brand did KB use?!?

Hi, I am thinking about building my own house and would line to know how much it would roughly cost. I would like a 3 or 4 bedroom detached house not too big and not too small. I am aware that land with planning permision is not cheap but would just like to know what the building costs would be. I would not project manage the build my self so that would have to be included in the price. Any help would be appreciated.
So when you talk about square feet is that both levels or just the ground floor.

I want to build a house in central ohio. Using a custom home builder to build a home on my land seems like it can be a little expensive. what are some of the cheapest ways to build a nice home? One that looks like any other around, NOT like adobe or anything. I’ve heard that open panel construction can be cheaper, but is their anything any cheaper? I want to build between a 5000 sf and a 5500 sf home. the plan I’m looking at is at the following website:

How much would it cost to build this plan, with possibly another 2 car garage, and a full walkout basement? Residential Home Construction Fraud?

Hi I am living in Virginia and I have a vacant land in Marco Island FL.
I applied construction loan through BB&T bank to build a house and I was approved. Aug/2005 I found a builder and signed contract. I also made a deposit $61,000.00. In July/2006 because of my personal problem I asked builder to refund my deposit of $60,000.00 even. (Because they already spent $750.00 for survey,architect,stakeout..) But they ignored. I have argued for two more years and now they closed their company.(XX Home Builders INC.)
Any suggestions?

My garage build objects disappeared in the Sims 2?

I haven’t played my Sims 2 Double Deluxe game in a while, but now when I go to build and try to get a garage built, the garage heading has nothing in it, it’s simply blank! What happened?
Maybe you don’t understand. I go into build mode, select the garage category, and the objects that I am usually able to place are not there, here’s a screenshot:

There used to be driveways and a garage door there, but there is nothing there now.

Thank you for the suggestion Sims2Player, I tried the registry tip and even tried uninstalling the game. I disabled and deleted all downloaded content and I still have the same problem. It’s only the objects in the garage category that are missing as far as I can tell. Anything else I can try?

The reason being is the builder pull out. The home owers want to take over the HOA. The builder promise a pool and basketball court on which we where told before we all move in. I want to know how can we take over the HOA and can they put a lean on our’s homes if we pay them on a month to month base. What can we do.

Questions about first time home buyers tax credit.?

My husband and I are planning to buy a home and get the first time home buyers tax credit. I’m thinking about seeing if my dad would help us build a house instead of buying an old one. This is my dad’s profession he builds awesome houses. So I read on the Q&A website about this program that you cannot qualify for the credit if you buy the home from a parent. So what about if your parent is the builder? Also it says if you are building a new house you have to occupy it before the deadline. Does the house have to be finished? I’m thinking about leaving a few bedrooms and a bathroom unfinished at this point to save time and money. Will that matter? Does anyone know if there is a number to call to talk to a person and ask all these questions? Thanks.

I am interested in buying a peice of land that is near a metro area but still far enough away to be in a quiet area. I can build two homes on this property costing $185,000. Typcially, how much profit do home builders make off a home? I realize for many they keep costs down because they are building factory style homes. I am just wondering if I were to keep costs at a minimum, but not cutting corners can I still make money even though I am building two custom homes, being designed after ‘factory’ style homes though.

As Hussein walked out of the customs building, an embassy convoy of sport-utility vehicles drove through the intersection. Blackwater security guards, charged with protecting the diplomats, yelled at construction workers at an unfinished building to move back. Instead, the workers threw rocks. The guards, witnesses said, responded with gunfire, spraying the intersection with bullets.
Hussein, who was on the opposite side of the street from the construction site, fell to the ground, shot in the leg. As she struggled to her feet and took a step, eyewitnesses said, a Blackwater security guard trained his weapon on her and shot her multiple times. She died on the spot, and the customs documents she’d held in her arms fluttered down the street
During the ensuing week, as Crocker and Petraeus told Congress that the surge of more U.S. troops to Iraq was beginning to work and President Bush gave a televised address in which he said “ordinary life was beginning to return” to Baghdad , Blackwater security guards shot at least 43 people on crowded Baghdad streets. At least 16 of those people died.
